Guide to Publix Shopping

1. Publix has a variety of their own store coupons they provide in the form of flyers, tearpads, and booklets. You can find these scattered throughout the store, particularly near the entrance near  the weekly ad. Two main flyers to note are the Green and Yellow Advantage Flyers. New ones come out every few weeks.

2. They also accept competitor store coupons--ask your customer service management which stores they consider competitors, as this varies from store to store.

3. Publix takes all valid, legit manufacture coupons (Internet printables included),  with their own store coupons or competitor coupons. This is called "stacking"; using one store coupon and one manufacture coupon per item purchased.

4. Publix is known for its BOGO (Buy One Get One Free) sales. In Florida, when purchasing items part of a BOGO sale, you must buy both items to get the deal. It is truly a buy one get one free deal. In states other than Florida, you do not have to purchase both items part of a BOGO deal. You have the option to purchase one for 1/2 price if you wish.

5. Publix also doubles coupons .50 and under every day, EXCEPT in Florida. In Florida coupons are not doubled.

6. You can use two coupons on a BOGO sale.

7. In Florida, you can use a BOGO manufacture coupon with a BOGO sale item to get both items free!
