Ingredients

2 ripe kiwis, pureed
1 cup ground almonds
1 bunch fresh mint, chopped
5 drops peppermint essential oil, food grade
3 capsules co enzyme Q10

Directions

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. (Of course squeezing all the co Q10 capsules into the bowl as well.) Gently scrub the mixture over your face, rinse well and follow with a moisturizer and/or toner.

Ingredients

1 organic apple
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp honey
3 crushed capsules co enzyme Q10
2 capsules vitamin E

Directions

Cut the apple into large chunks, put into food processor, and puree. Put the puree into a mixing bowl and add the apple cider vinegar. Then add the honey & CoQ10. Make an incision in the vitamin E capsules and squeeze them into the bowl. Mix, and apply the pack to your face for 20 minutes and then gently rinse off.

Ingredients

1 Cup Vegetable Glycerin
1 TBS powdered charcoal (available at specialty shops & online)
1 TBS Licorice Root Powder
1 tsp Anise Extract
5 Drops Cedarwood Essential Oil (food grade)

Directions

Melt Vegetable glycerin in a double boiler. When melted, add in the powdered charcoal. Next, add the licorice root powder, the the anise, then the cedar wood. Gently stir all the ingredients together. Pour into soap molds and let set.

1 TBS Shea Butter
1 TBS Beeswax
1 tsp Soy Wax
1/2 tsp Castor Oil
1/4 tsp Coconut oil
10 Drops Lemon Essential Oil (food grade)
10 Drops Tangerine Essential Oil (food grade)

Directions

Melt the shea butter, beeswax, & soy wax together on low heat. Take off the burner and then add the castor oil, then the coconut oil. Let cool slightly, then add the citrus essential oils. Stir the mixture, and pour into a small glass container. Apply around nails, massaging in.

Homemade Liquid Laundry Soap - Front or top load machine - best value


Ingredients

4  Cups - hot tap water1  Fels-Naptha soap bar (or use ZOTE, which can be found at Big Lots)
1 Cup - Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda* (can be found at Publix)
1 Cup Borax (can also be found at Publix)

Directions

 -Grate bar of soap and add to pot with water. Stir continually over medium-low heat until soap dissolves and is melted.
 
-Fill a 5 gallon bucket half full of hot tap water. Add melted soap, washing soda and Borax. Stir well until all powder is dissolved. Fill the bucket with hot water to the top. Stir, cover it and let sit overnight to thicken.
 
-The next day run your hands through the soap so it doesn't gel or turn solid.
 
-Stir and fill a used, clean, laundry soap dispenser (will gel) so shake it up well.
 
-Optional: You can add 10-15 drops of essential oil per 2 gallons. Add once soap has cooled. Ideas: lavender, rosemary, tea tree oil.
-Note: Liquid soap recipe makes 10 gallons.
-Top Load Machine- 5/8 Cup per load (Approx. 180 loads)
-Front Load Machines- ¼ Cup per load (Approx. 640 loads)
